Burnout & Anxiety Therapy in Denver

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable - especially when you’re used to being the capable one.

If you’re here, you may already know something needs to change.

You might feel:

  • Emotionally exhausted but still performing

  • Overwhelmed by responsibility

  • Caught in self-criticism or perfectionism

  • Stuck in identity transitions

  • Disconnected from your values or intuition

You do not have to navigate this alone. Call or email today

Who I Work With

I specialize in working with high-achieving adults who are navigating:

  • Burnout (professional, relational, or identity-based)

  • High-functioning anxiety

  • Perfectionism and over-responsibility

  • Executive stress and leadership fatigue

  • Motherhood and professional role strain

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, leaders, and people living in achievement-driven environments. If you are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to explore patterns more deeply - we will likely work well together.

What Therapy With Me Is Like

Therapy is collaborative, strategic, and deeply relational.

I integrate:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness and nervous-system regulation

  • Process-based and integrative approaches

But more than technique, I focus on psychological flexibility, helping you:

  • Stay present with difficult emotions

  • Unhook from rigid self-stories

  • Clarify your values

  • Take meaningful action

  • Reclaim vitality without abandoning ambition

You will not be “fixed.” You will be understood, challenged thoughtfully, and supported in growth.

My Approach to Burnout & Anxiety

Burnout is never just about workload.

It is shaped by:

  • Personality and temperament

  • Cultural and workplace expectations

  • Gender roles and inequity

  • Life stage transitions

  • Nervous-system strain over time

We examine both the internal and external contributors - with nuance and compassion.

[ Email With Questions ]

Common Questions:

How do I schedule a consultation?

You can request a free 15-minute consultation through the website contact form, by email, or by telephone. Please use the contact form only for routine inquiries and avoid including highly sensitive clinical information. It is not monitored as an emergency service.

What happens during the free 15-minute consultation?

The consultation is a brief conversation about what is bringing you to therapy, what you hope will change, logistical fit, and any initial questions about my approach. It is not a therapy session or diagnostic evaluation. If we appear to be a good fit, we can discuss scheduling the initial assessment.

What happens in the first therapy session?

The first session focuses on understanding your concerns, relevant history, current functioning, strengths, goals, and immediate needs. We begin developing a shared formulation and treatment plan. You do not need to tell your entire story at once, and the plan can evolve as we understand more.

How much does therapy cost?

The fee is $225 for a 50-minute individual session. Longer 60-, 75-, and 90-minute appointments are prorated. Fees are due at the time of service. Please confirm current fees during the consultation because website information may be updated over time.

Do you accept insurance?

I am a private-pay, out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network mental-health benefits, you may request a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement. Coverage, deductibles, allowed amounts, and reimbursement decisions are determined by your insurer.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is an itemized clinical receipt containing information an insurer may require when considering an out-of-network claim. Providing a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement. Contact your insurance company before treatment to ask about out-of-network behavioral-health benefits and any documentation requirements.

How often will we meet?

Many clients begin with weekly sessions so we can build momentum, understand patterns, and apply new skills consistently. Frequency may later change according to goals, progress, clinical need, scheduling, and preference. We decide collaboratively rather than using one schedule for everyone.

Do you offer longer sessions?

Yes. In addition to standard 50-minute appointments, 60-, 75-, and 90-minute sessions may be available when clinically appropriate and mutually agreed upon. Longer sessions are prorated and may be useful for particular treatment goals or circumstances.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments require at least 48 business-hours notice to cancel or reschedule. For example, a Monday 1 pm appointment must be rescheduled the Thursday before by 1 pm. The full session fee applies when notice is provided inside that window, except when an emergency exception is appropriate. The complete policy is reviewed in the informed-consent documents before treatment begins.

In which states can you provide therapy?

I am licensed in Colorado and provide telepsychology to clients physically located in Colorado. Through PSYPACT, I may also provide services in participating jurisdictions when authorized and clinically appropriate. Your physical location is confirmed for each session because licensure rules apply where the client is located.

What if we decide we are not the right fit?

A good therapeutic fit matters. If either of us determines that another provider, service, level of care, or treatment approach would better meet your needs, I will discuss that directly and, when possible, offer appropriate referral guidance. A referral is not a judgment about your readiness for therapy.

Is the contact form appropriate for an emergency?

No. The website form, email, and routine voicemail are not emergency or crisis services. If you may harm yourself or someone else, cannot remain safe, or are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States.
